7. Carbonated Water

To get rid of the acute pain caused by foot tendonitis, you can use carbonated water as well.

  1. Soak your foot in sugarless carbonated water for 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Do this twice daily. This can be very refreshing and relieve pain and inflammation.

Sage has many curative properties that can be used in the treatment of foot tendonitis. It has a soothing effect and can relieve pain and inflammation.

  • Rub some fresh sage leaves together gently in your palms to crush them. Boil the leaves in two-thirds cup of apple cider vinegar for a few minutes, and then simmer for another five minutes. Remove from heat, soak a clean piece of cotton cloth in the solution and wring out the excess water. Place the cloth on the affected area for 10 minutes.
  • You can also use dried sage leaves to make a cup of sage tea. To make this tea, steep one teaspoon of dried sage leaves in a cup of hot water for 10 minutes and then strain it. Drink this tea two or three times daily.

  4. Great tips! The cayenne pepper as well as the olive oil can particularly be very effective as pain relievers for foot injuries. However, for more severe injuries professional help is necessary in order to be effective. Also, for all foot injuries the RICE techniques is a must. Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation

  6. I will definitely try to use the home remedies that has been mentioned in the articles. I can’t get any relief from my Doctor. Broke my right ankle about five years ago and have had four surgeries during this time period, I am so tired of being in chronic pain every day. I no longer have a active life because of the pain. I used Epsom salt with warm water for my husband’s tendonitis for one hour(soaked his foot on it) and rub with warm coconut oil (no olive oil available) and with few drops of frankincense oil and message his foot gently for 5 to 10 minutes. And I let him drink also an organic apple cider with purified warm water mix with organic honey, and let him drink with a cup of herbal tea(any kind) afterwards. And he’s so very thankful to me because he feels relief and the second day treatment, I found out that the swelling thing on his foot is gone.   9. I try ed the soaking my foot in Epson salt..I rub coconUT oil and ice my foot everynight..it helps alot but comes back again..temporary fix

  11. I’ve had tendonitis across the arch of my foot, it was more of an achy feeling. I currently have sharp pain when dorsiflexing. I’m glad to read that it isn’t Achilles tendon issues and sounds exactly like foot tendonitis. Definitely trying a few of these home remedys.
