7. Papaya

raw papaya

Papaya is another very easy and effective remedy for removing foot corns. There are several enzymes in papaya that will help slough off hard and dead skin. Plus, papaya can ease any pain or discomfort and even help the corn dry up and fall off faster. For best results, use raw papaya.

  1. Grate a small piece of raw papaya and extract its juice.
  2. Soak a cotton ball in this juice, put it on the corn and secure it with tape.
  3. Leave it on overnight.
  4. The next morning, use a pumice stone to gently exfoliate the skin.
  5. Repeat daily until you are satisfied with the result.

8. Licorice

In Ayurveda, licorice is often recommended to treat corns on feet due to its amazing healing and medicinal properties.

  1. Mix one tablespoon of licorice powder with enough mustard oil to make a thick paste.
  2. Apply this paste on the affected area before going to bed.
  3. Put a bandage over it and leave it on overnight.
  4. The next morning, remove the bandage and wash the area with lukewarm water.
  5. Do this every night until the corn becomes soft and decreases in size.

  8. I have tried to put some onions cut up small in a bag. I have a corn on my big toe. So, I put onions in a sandwich bag. Tie it over my big toe. Leave it on as long as possible day and night. Take it off in the morning, shower and put it on again for the whole week. After the week is over use the pumice stone. It gets cut in half the first week.

    1. I haven’t tried any of the home remedies but what I did for the corn between my toes is put a cotton ball between to separate them. With no friction for several weeks the corn disappeared on it’s own.

  9. I also had corn on my Hand….i had surgeries 2 times but it grew again at same place I got fed up .my father told me to bring lime stone powder I applied it by mixing it in baking soda until it bleeds ….after pressing it like pimple ….i removed the dirty blood out ….and then my father told me to aplly bandage of pure clarified butter …i changed my bandage daily for a week and after a week it got removed automatically ..if you want to get rid of the corn then do this process …but dedication is needed because limestone powder with baking soda pain but to gain success pain is needed … All the best

    1. You have to get rid of the source so whatever shoes you wear most is probably the problem as is normally causing the friction which is what is causing the corn get rid of the shoes and then can new properly fitted ones with memory form then the corn won’t come back and should go away on its own
